Rapid Reader - with Spritz App Reviews

I foolishly didnt research this but bought based on the concept - which is cool and works great. However, it wont work unless you have Premium Instapaper - that wasnt disclosed and I had to find it in the forums when mine wouldnt sync.

If you like reading more technical pieces of information disseminated in PDF. You can forget that happening

Was a very useful app but recently can not load an article without the whole app crashing.

Couldnt get it to work with Instapaper, but switched to Pocket and it works great.

Connected to Pocket the app is very useful. Before though, for some reason you have to log out and in to Spritz every once in a while. Youll get the error that Spritz isnt accessible.

I had been waiting for an app using the Spritz technology to become mature enough to warrant a purchase and this app has blown me away. I am an avid user of Pocket and the ability of this app to sync with Pocket (both ways, archiving also archives in Pocket) is exactly what I was hoping for. I go through articles at nearly double the speed I used to. I hope Rapid becomes extremely popular so development can continue. Great job! (this is only the second review Ive ever written so Im obviously impressed) Using a Gen 1 iPad Air. App is designed for use on a phone more than a tablet but it still works great. I would pay double what theyre charging to get this app. GET IT!

Love the concept. Hopefully this application will someday function reliably.

Nothing but freezing and crashing on my iPhone 6+

Takes a few tries to get used to but pretty terrific. Wish it was available offline and the sharing tools were better.

It freezes when you try to pull news from different sources. Please update.

Decent UI. But who cares when its so buggy! Can load content, rarely holds your place in article if you leave & come back, crashes galore. Ugh. And one of the worst: the wpm speed is WAY off. Trying to read a book of ~60,000 words. It chokes. Plays at around 375 wpm no matter what speed I set to. Ugh. Dont waste your time/money.

I want to like and use this but it crashes on article load 100% of time. Worked at once but no more. No updates for months. May be a ghost app at this point. Dont bother unless there is an update more recent than November 2014.

I enjoyed using the app while it worked but the current version crashes when opening anything. Its been a long time since it worked. Unfortunately there dont seem to be many good alternatives.

Great idea and fun to use. Helps the reader to stay focused, improving both speed and comprehension. Looking forward to seeing books made available in this format.

I have been using this for a several weeks now and its great. I primarily use it with Pocket and it syncs quickly and the archiving feature works as advertised. This app is simple and easy to use and so I find myself using it more each day.

Great idea; still crashes every time, even after reinstalling. Waited two years and its still not functional.
